OPERAS
OPERAS is the Research Infrastructure (RI) dedicated to supporting open scholarly communication in social sciences and humanities (SSH) within the European Research Area (ERA). OPERAS-UK is part of a National Node network connecting European initiatives with local research communities and ensuring that national needs and perspectives are taken into account in international developments. Convened and hosted by Jisc, OPERAS-UK is a friendly, supportive space for UK members of OPERAS to meet, collaborate, network, share ideas and spot opportunities.
- Information about OPERAS services alongside tailored training and support in using these services
- Access to EU funding and the opportunity to participate in EU projects coordinated by OPERAS
- International visibility for UK arts, humanities and social sciences research and researchers
- Networking and events for researchers, publishers, and libraries, and information sharing through the members’ mailing list
