Instead of providing a comprehensive user guide, we present several example cases that demonstrate various capabilities of FlowEDG. The tutorials will describe how to:

  • Generate meshes with GMSH and MeshOpt which have boundary conditions compatible with FlowEDG.
  • Set up the configuration file FlowEDG.config.
  • Run the solver.
  • Post-process the solution.

The tutorials are presented in increasing order of complexity, therefore it is recommended to go through them in order. With the exception of the last tutorial which computes unsteady transitional flow over a wing, 8GB of memory should be sufficient. For the wing case, 64GB of memory will be required by the solver.
