Parsing seems to work just fine. I couldn't get it working in Neovim to check how syntax highlighting works there, but unaltered the repo wouldn't work in Neovim either (using nvim-tree-sitter's master branch, not main. I couldn't even get main working for other languages when I tried a while ago) and it seems you have to do something specific to get it working there, and I'm totally out of my depth there.
