Alternatively, we could also use the Cairo runner that app is using for consistency... (Cairo v2.11.4)

Using scarb, which is installable in a single curl CLI command, and is required for any task of cairo development, seems to be the most straightforward way. Using an API requires internet access and seems like a big overhead

Aah no no, the lib is very flexible, you can use it within another Rust crate as dep and should be much faster than cli calls too for at least 2 reasons.
