Some IDEs and coding agents automatically apply `ruff format` if ruff is available. The code of this project doesn't conform to ruff formatting rules.

Some IDEs and coding agents (OpenCode, in particular) automatically apply
ruff formatif ruff is available. The code of this project doesn't conform to ruff formatting rules, so disabling ruff formatting avoids some headache when using those tools.Alternative: do a
ruff formatonce for the whole code base, and useblame.ignoreRevsFilein Git (see Avoiding ruining git blame).
