Redis Installation

Based on http://grainier.net/how-to-install-redis-in-ubuntu/ and http://redis.io/topics/quickstart

Dependencies:

    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get install build-essential
    sudo apt-get install tcl8.5

Build and install:

    wget http://download.redis.io/redis-stable.tar.gz
    tar xvzf redis-stable.tar.gz
    cd redis-stable
    make
    make test
    sudo make install

Start it up:

    sudo redis-server

If it works, call it a day:

    redis-cli ping

which should return

    PONG
