NextG-Sec

Workshop on NextG Networks Cryptography and Security

Overview

NextG-Sec is a technical workshop dedicated to exploring the cryptography and security challenges in next-generation wireless systems, including 5G, 6G, and future IoT ecosystems. The workshop serves as a platform for academic researchers, industry professionals, and policy stakeholders to discuss emerging threats and design resilient, scalable, and privacy-preserving solutions.

As wireless networks evolve to support low-latency, high-throughput, and distributed services at scale, they demand innovative approaches to cryptographic protocol design, secure infrastructure deployment, AI-driven threat detection, and post-quantum preparedness.

Topics of Interest

NextG-Sec welcomes contributions on topics including, but not limited to:

  • Cryptographic protocols for NextG networks
  • Post-quantum secure designs
  • Security and privacy in Open RAN architectures
  • Agentic-AI and LLM-based approaches to NextG defense
  • Formal verification and model-based analysis
  • Intrusion detection and adversarial resilience
  • Secure beamforming and physical-layer techniques
  • Trustworthy AI/ML for network security
  • Testbeds and experimental security frameworks

Submission Tracks

  • Full Papers: Up to 18 pages (excluding references and appendices), LNCS format
  • Short Papers: Up to 9 pages (including references), LNCS format
