This Pull Request incorporates the work done by the CSMUB Capstone team in Fall 2025 as contributed in PRs #1539, #1540, and #1541 in response to Issue #1521. Those PRs will be closed but their contributions are in this PR as a set of cleaner commits. In those PRs the reformatting of the code by clang-format was done and undone a few times along with other code refinements making it difficult to discern actual code (and not just simple formatting) changes.
