Hey Brian! Thanks for creating this package. It does almost everything I need, except that I need to support Maps with atom keys. I could handle it outside the package, but I saw someone else had wanted something similar, so I thought I'd contribute if you are open to it.
I tried to minimize the changes and support backward compatibility. Amending the key is kind of a hack, but I couldn't think of another graceful way to do it.
If you are interested in this change, I can also update the docs if you want.
