  • πŸ” Interested in building web applications for linguistic research/language learning
  • 🌱 Currently exploring Svelte, SvelteKit and Deno

Hi, I am Xander, a full-stack web developer from the Netherlands. After working as a linguistic researcher and university teacher with a passion for educational technology for several years, I now design and develop software tools and web applications at the Utrecht University Centre for Digital Humanities. I am a strong analytical thinker, capable of learning new skills and technologies quickly and efficiently and strongly driven to improve myself and my skillset wherever possible.

My background is in both front-end and back-end technologies, but I especially love using Angular to create beautiful, responsive and functional frontends. In the past, I have also used React (with Redux for state management) and am currently exploring Svelte(Kit) and Deno all strongly typed with TypeScript of course.
