  • 👋 Hi, I’m my name is Watt. I live in Memphis, TN where I was born and raised.
  • 👀 I’m interested in Data Science, Data Analytics and Cybersecurity
  • I am an Enterprise Data Analyst II for a financial institutution in Tennessee
  • I hold a postgraudate degree in Data Science and Business Analytics from McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas - Austin
  • I also hold a Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Tennessee
  • I have worked in banking for over 12 years, holding positions in several different sectors, including Collections, Retail, Loan Underwriting, Commercial Lending, & Private Banking. I transitioned from banking to Director of a startup company in 2018. This is where I found an interest in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, and Data Analytics. After 2 years, I decided to get back into banking. During that time I attained my post-graduate degree in Data Science and Business Analytics in 2022. I also attained the CompTIA Security+ certification in 2023 and the Alteryx Designer Core shortly thereafter.
  • Currently, I am studying for the Microsoft Data Analyst Power BI Associate PL-300 certification. My short-term goal is to get the Databricks SQL Data Analyst Certification, and a longer-term goal is to attain the CISA certification.
