These are my notes for translation changes. However, I am still testing.

replace mkapp/app/language/es_es.ini ;source lines:
Connected = "Conectado"
Disconnected = "Desconectado"
with:
Signal detected = "Sinal detectado"
No signal = "Sem sinal"
Analog input requires Expansion Module = "Entrada analógica requer módulo de expansão"

replace mkapp/app/language/ru_ru.ini ;source lines:
Connected = "Подключен"
Disconnected = "Не подключен"
with:
Signal detected = "Сигнал обнаружен"
No signal = "Нет сигнала"
Analog input requires Expansion Module = "Для аналогового входа требуется модуль расширения"

replace mkapp/app/language/zh_hans.ini ;source lines:
Connected = "已连接"
Disconnected = "未连接"
with:
Signal detected = "检测到信号"
No signal = "无信号"
Analog input requires Expansion Module = "模拟输入需要扩展模块"

Keep "Подключен" and "Не подключен" for signal

Analog input requires Expansion Module = "Аналоговое подключение требует модуль расширения"

@Sat1l
Is there better Russian wording available to report "Signal detected" and "No signal" ?

I am realizing that the English wording was changed because the goggle is only attempting to check possible signal detection and reporting Connected / Disconnected is erroneous/misleading for English users.

Hmmm it's quite debatable and both can fit, I just find "не подключено" more pleasing though I get where the confusion might come from.
I see the logic like this: if it's something that is constantly connected and sometimes looses/revives the signal - then it is "No signal" & "Signal detected", BUT I find those more fitting for cases like WiFi, Bluetooth, etc.
Here - it's always some lack of physical connection - whether a loose HDMI, a torn A/V or a faulty bay/analogue RX. And since we don't differentiate a physical connection and a physical+signal in the UI - i think it's better to stick with the previous translation

For background:
The goggle is technically not detecting a connection. The reason for this wording change is to reduce confusion that primarily occurs when reported connection state of analog inputs are erroneously transitioning Connected/Disconnected regardless of the current physical connection state. However, I have since tested to find HDMI is also not using a plug state but signal state. So Signal detected / No signal wordings are more accurate for all three... HDMI, AV-in, and analog module bay.

Please take time to consider and let me know final thoughts.
Thank you,
-p
