When possible, I use package managers to install software. Since TEPIC is not (yet) in any of the anaconda repositories (e.g. bioconda), I added a conda environment file with instructions (in the README).

This way, user can install the software in an isolated and reproducible environment.

Hi @moritzschaefer ,

thanks for making this nice contribution! We will review everything and be happy to merge it.
We are probably going to fix each of the dependencies in conda.yaml to an explicitly tested version. The sometimes implicit dependency updates in conda / pip packages are hard to track down - but anyway, this will be our work. In case you still have the time, I would be happy to receive a copy of all the package versions installed in your local conda env, which you probably used to test / run TEPIC.

Many thanks for your work!

Hey @Xethic,

Adding versions seems like a good idea!

I have dumped the versions using 'conda env export' and pasted them here:

You have permission (by GitHub) to add commits to my master branch before accepting the PR, so feel free to add versions to your liking.

Also, please let me know if I can still do anything to support you
