This project is part of an academic cloud computing module. It involves designing and deploying a cloud-based architecture that integrates scalable and efficient services. The goal is to apply modern cloud computing techniques to develop a simple web project : a calculator.
Key aspects of the project include:
- Cloud infrastructure setup
- Containerization and orchestration
- CI/CD pipeline implementation
- Monitoring and security measures
- Performance optimization
This project helps develop and strengthen several technical and professional skills, including:
- Cloud Architecture: Understanding and implementing cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- DevOps Practices: Using CI/CD tools to automate software deployment.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Working with Docker and Kubernetes to manage applications.
- Networking & Security: Ensuring secure communication and access control in cloud environments.
- Scalability & Performance Tuning: Optimizing cloud resources for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
This project is conducted by two students passionate about cloud technologies and software development:
- Arno Bidet – A deranged man, obsessed with docker and containerization. Often seen running naked in the woods.
- Nathan Toïgo – A very cool, competent, wholesome, interesting, thoughtful genius. He's been seen on a roof of a Gotham building, wearing a black stylish costume.
