This repo contains complete samples and snippet hosts created for specific topics in the Windows developer doc repos.

The purpose of this repo is to provide a place for Windows dev doc writers to host topic-specific samples, snippet hosts, and .zip downloads.

To enable .zip downloads, each sample must be in its own "orphaned" branch - that is, a branch with no relationship to other branches in the repo (GitHub generates independent zip files for each branch).

Note: Windows samples are published under the Microsoft org on GitHub - for example, in windows-universal-samples.
