Avatax is a real-time face-tracking system that maps your expressions to a 3D avatar. Experience smooth and accurate live animation of your facial movements, powered by MediaPipe and Three.js. It allows you to express yourself in a completely new way.

Choose Your Version

Download the File
Click on the file link for your operating system. The file will usually be in .exe (Windows) or .dmg (Mac). -
Install the Software
Open the downloaded file and follow the prompts to install Avatax on your device. -
Run Avatax
After installation, locate Avatax in your applications folder or desktop and double-click to start.
To ensure Avatax runs smoothly, your system should meet the following requirements:
- Operating System: Windows 10 or later, or macOS Mojave or later.
- Processor: Intel i5 or equivalent (or better)
- RAM: 8 GB minimum
- Graphics Card: Dedicated GPU with at least 4 GB memory
- Webcam: Integrated or external, capable of 720p resolution or higher
Once Avatax is running, follow these steps to map your face to the 3D avatar:

The application may request access to your webcam. Grant permission to allow real-time tracking. -
Calibration
Sit in front of the camera and follow the on-screen prompts to calibrate your facial movements. This helps the software understand your expressions. -
