FreeRTOS has been added and I changed memory allocation and deallocation to the FreeRTOS equivalents. Functions run fine in SatSim.
Data structure alignment should be good now.
The image compression stuff is largely decomposed from the existing ESA image compression code. The file iris_compression.c is where I standardized the input values for image compression so that it no longer requires a long command line input of user specifications. The issue around GNU standard files I still need to figure out, for now, I left them in there. I'm don't think we can just include a file system on the SoC, perhaps the TI compiler has equivalent standard files? I think I'll focus on figuring this out next. Thoughts on that are appreciated.
A lot more rigorous testing is still needed. I can confirm the heuristic functions are collection BSQ image pixels correctly. But since the testing is done with dummy data the final calculation value is meaningless at this point in time. I plan to generate more images with specified metadata for testing the image compression.
