This feature is present in AuthMeBungee and I personally think this is useful in at least 1 scenario:

  • if you have captcha plugin where player need to type in chat directly captcha code while player is not even authenticated yet (he is not registered, because it's his first time joining the server and he first need to solve a captcha), this is one of the use cases for this, and is very useful for prehub servers
