Perform modal accessibility testing and document any issues to ensure compliance:

Verify that the modal component meets these requirements:

• Focus is properly trapped within the modal when open.
• Keyboard navigation functions correctly throughout the modal.
• Screen readers properly announce modal content and labels.
• Assistive technologies cannot access background content while the modal is active.

The accessibility audit was performed and identified two critical and two moderate issues for review: ARIA roles and labels, keyboard navigation, button color contrast, and landmark.
