Question about Gene Search & Navigation Feature in New Version

Hi WashU Epigenome Browser team,

First, thank you for your previous responses and the continuous improvements to this powerful tool! I really appreciate your work.

I recently noticed that the new version of GenomeHub seems to lack the gene search and jump-to-target-region functionality available in earlier versions (e.g., typing a gene name to quickly navigate to its genomic location). This feature was incredibly useful for my analysis workflow.

Could you clarify:
Is this intentional, or might it be reintroduced in a future update?
If it’s planned, do you have an estimated timeline?

@ZenMuseHarmony Hi are you talking about searching for these type of gene search? If so, then you can click on the search bar on the bottom of the screen and click on "/gene" or type /gene and search for the genome name

Hi @Weezsle, I think @ZenMuseHarmony is using the npm package. do we have that in the package?

The new UI is not in the npm package yet, but it will be added after I finish with all the bug fixes
