want - how to not-want

in a want message, how do we encode "I don't want any updates for this feed"?

My initial thought was "that could be a zero", but that might not work if you genuinely have no messages from a feed but do want them.

so perhaps the number sent out is offset/bit-shifted by 1, i.e.

• 0 means "don't want"
• 1 means "I want, and have seq 0, that is no messages"
• 2 means "I want, and have seq 1"
• etc
