This issue is being created for the removal of the banner several months after its addition on the website and the README.mds, while it can be kept in the blog entry. Parent issue #645.
Use case
The Tekton container images were successfully migrated from gcr.io to ghcr.io and an information mail was sent to the tekton-dev group. Many Tekton users might have seen the information through various channels by now. To keep the website and repositories clean and relevant, the temporary info banners should be removed, keeping only the blog entry for those interested in past changes.
This is a common maintenance practice to ensure content remains current and concise.
