Don't use `(duplicated)` when duplicating entries

When you duplicate entries the string (duplicated) gets appended to the entry title. This is rarely desired in practice, at least not by me. It would be nice if you could disable this.

What do you think about an input with the possibility to set a new title directly?

That could be nice, but how would that work when you duplicate multiple entries?

Good point. The other question is: what about the slug? That one is fine with -duplicate at the end? How would you differ the new ones from the originals in a tree view?

The slug currently gets appended an integer when duplicating. This behavior could remain the same I think. It's fine. My issue is with duplicating the title is you quickly end up with entries that look like:

Title (duplicated)
Title (duplicated) (duplicated)
Title (duplicated) (duplicated) (duplicated)

When I typically use this to quickly scaffold some content to see how stuff looks. All the duplication strings make this look pretty jarring.

Know that one for sure. Best solution I can come up with is only appending (duplicated) if it's not there yet. Meaning you'd end up with something like this:

Title
Title (duplicated)
Title (duplicated)
Title (duplicated)

But why have it in there in the first place? I don't get the use case. You can always turn on the slugs in the table view, right?

If something is needed, maybe an alternative could be:

Title
Title 1
Title 2
Title 3

Just like what happens with the slugs.
