Any change to update spotifyd from 0.3.5 to 0.4.1?

Do you think it is possible to replace spotifyd 0.3.5 with 0.4.1?

This could solve all the annoying problems such as “Connection reset by peer (OS error 104)” and similar issues. Only the authentication could become a little more complicated.

With 0.3.5, the connection is very unstable. Sometimes I can listen for hours without interruption, sometimes only for a few minutes. The relevant forums are full of this. rAudio is definitely not at fault ;-) so 0.4.1 could be the solution. However, to my knowledge, 0.4.1-1 is not available in archlinuxarm (aarch64), at least pacman does not recognize this version and the package cannot be downloaded directly.

A manual installation attempt looked promising, but I didn't have enough time to complete the integration into rAudio.

( It would also be nice to be able to use Camilla seamlessly with Spotify without having to manually adjust the device chain every time the configuration changes , but this is not a real issue :-) )

I'm very sorry. I didn't mean to bore you.
I just wanted to point out that the problem “Connection reset by peer (OS error 104)” still exists.
I'm very busy at the moment, but I'll find out how to integrate 0.4.1. I'll keep you posted if you like.
