Description
In a real-world scenario, the video will buffer but our data pipeline is real-time. What happens then?
Do we tie the simulation to our video? Not implementing, just discussion.
Imagine the video is already delayed (happens usually with streaming events) and that delay is a double-edged sword.
Negative: it fucks the sync. Goal realtime mai pada and it updates our entire view but the video is still peeche. User ke pass do timer chal rahen hain honge, one which is part of our view and one which is in the video. Even if we hide our timer, it's still a problem.
Positive: the delay in the stream bodes well for us as it accounts for the twitter delay in reactions as well as tweets from Twitter -> to our frontend time.
Goal padne ke 10 second baad reaction aaten hain toh that would sync with the video feed.
^This is all for real-time. Past match and real time can be very different views depending on how we store data and then consume it.
