Yes, will have to reword that section a bit more (we still upload an sdist to the github release, but then ideally you download that one manually from PyPI or the github action that pushed to PyPI) |

Additionally since @jorisvandenbossche has confirmed that the PyPI Trusted Publishing workflow was sucessful for the RC, we probably do not need the
scripts/download_wheels.shscript anymore (and can update the release docs to remove the manual wheel download step?)Once merged, we can remove the
PANDAS_STAGING_UPLOAD_TOKENsecret from the repo
