Use Ghostty terminal with Linux machine #2161

I am using the awesome Ghostty terminal on my Mac. In OrbStack, I created an Ubuntu machine and when I double click the machine it opens a Ghostty terminal window for the Ubuntu virtual machine. However, when I try to clear the screen in the Ghostty terminal, I get an unknown terminal type message as shown below: According to the Ghostty docs, the terminfo needs to be updated for remote machines using this command: infocmp -x xterm-ghostty | ssh YOUR-SERVER -- tic -x -But I'm not connecting to the machine with SSH. So how do I provide this info to OrbStack so I can properly open Ghostty terminal windows for the virtual machines? |
