Playlist - Custom Media Metadata Field for Show Playlists + management of it

Feature request: "Playlist" Custom Media Metadata Field, populated with a choice of tags. Playlist items are then chosen from this field instead of the comments field as they are currently. Adding this should be no problem as a custom field, but managing it becomes a problem later on when a track has multiple tags for multiple playlists. So, a feature request is ideally user can batch-remove (ie., edit out) a specific tag from a bunch of them while leaving other tags alone.
