Question Regarding Benchmarking with PartNetE Dataset

Hello PartField Team,

Thank you for your outstanding work! While reading your paper on PartField, I noticed that you used the PartNetE dataset for benchmarking. However, I observed that the PartNetE dataset is provided in point cloud format, whereas methods like SAMPart3D require mesh data. In this case, I would like to ask how you handled the point cloud data from PartNetE and performed the testing in this format?

I had emailed the authors the exact same question, and this was their response.

PartNetE is derived from PartNet-Mobility and PartNet, so you can find the corresponding meshes in the original datasets.

You can find the corresponding meshes to point clouds based on the corresponding obj ids (filenames).
