String replace per command line (s/_/_) not working yet

The well known command for search and replace in vim (%s/_/_ and <>s/_/_ and the likes) is not working yet in command mode. A fix is welcome 

Suggestion: maybe just open the search and replace dialog of jEdit with the correct ticks pre-filled?
