Blocking a user completely wipes/breaks room list ordering

To reproduce (I'm using Element X):

1. Block a user
2. Observe that the room list is missing (almost) all latest events and that the ordering is a bit all over the place.

Unblocking said user doesn't fix the room list. The only thing that helps is clearing the cache which is quite disruptive
