remove obsolete scripts

- figure.py appears to have been superseded by adjustments.py and the
  figure produced by figure.py is unused in the cheatsheets/handouts
- line.py appears to have been superseded by linestyles.py
- tick-locators-single.py produces a figure that seems incomplete
  and conflicts with the figure produced by tick-multiple-locator.py
