Problem with Mac

We are trying to get working your processing-mapmap scripts and they work fine out of the box for Ubuntu linux, but some of us have macbooks pro (three of us) and they are not so lucky with them.
The paint shows in mapmap but it never updates.
We see that the files are updated (we can see the icons refresh) but mapmap does not see it.

As I said it only fails with the macbooks.

Do you know any work around?

I understand but I don't see how to make donations to the Mapmap project and even less to direct them to a specific development.
It would be great if people who are interested in something could pay a crowfunding, but you would have to launch it yourselves.
