[FEAT] DNS challenges failing for Hetzner zones migrated to the new DNS Console

Wanted change

Update the already adopted DNS plugin, certbot-dns-hetzner, as soon as the upstream fix for the DNS challenge failure is released.

Reason for change

At the moment all DNS challenges fail for Hetzner DNS zones that have been migrated to the new DNS Console. The migration started last November, and it’s no longer possible to create new zones using the old API, so the plugin is effectively broken for every newly created or migrated zone.

Proposed code change

As an alternative, consider switching to certbot-dns-hetzner-cloud (https://github.com/rolschewsky/certbot-dns-hetzner-cloud), which already works with the new DNS Console API. Note that it does not support the legacy API, as stated in its README.
