One thing I'm considering adding to the service worker is storing the DOM as you make edits so that as you work

• history and URL are updated async
• a snapshot of the DOM is stored in service worker cache

This would take offline support one step further and also keep the total bandwidth cost down because doing a hard refresh on a new URL wouldn't mean another delivery from the server if the worker can provide it.

Might want to also cache the favicon and og image associated with the unique art.
