Ahh wait, the Important information link here https://a11y.canada.ca/en/standards/ is for the website, not the standard. Filling in the Office Form is pretty old-school. Where is the transparency? The form is pretty structured and limited. I would like my comments (and others) to be public. It is fine to have private submissions, but it shouldn't be the default mode. Also, what if submissions are submitted through: "In the event of technical difficulties, stakeholders will be able to contact us through our generic mailbox: DigitalPolicy.PolitiqueNumerique-Consultation@tbs-sct.gc.ca" |

Not everyone does. The AI Ethics standard used Google Docs because it was easier to get adoption from a wider range of technical folks. They got a lot of good comments through that.
I think having both GitHub & Google Docs would allow greater input from people with different levels of technical confidence.
