Image is turned at Iphones by 90degrees

Hi, 
when I use cropper, everything is working fine. I can crop my image etc.
When I save the url and read then this image again, the image is turned by 90 degrees.
This happens only by Iphones.

I tried to read out the EXIF Information of the saved file but this doesn't help.
Can it be that Cropper removes the exif information ?
Any idea that could help me?
