🙏 Feature request | Keyboard bindings for all camera rotation angles

Request Description:
Request for additional controls for mouse-based rotation. Currently one can rotate within the view plane by holding alt on Windows (roll?) but not about the other 2 axes (pitch/yaw?).

Perhaps I don't understand the question, but your request is the normal rotation logic. Without holding alt down, you rotate around X and Y. And with alt down, you rotate around Z. (All axes relative to screen.) If that's not what you mean, can you please elaborate?

If you hold alt it allows you to fix the axis going into the screen. This request would be the addition of options to fix either the horizontal or vertical axis of the screen instead. Without holding down no axes are fixed.

The axis you rotate around is always fixed. If you move your mouse upward, you rotate around X axis. If you move your mouse sideways you rotate around Y. Of course, moving your mouse more generally may result in rotating in both X and Y.
Ah, I think I get it. You want a way to prevent this, correct? So that you can only rotate in X or Y, without accidentally rotating around the other axis. Ok, I can look into that.

Visually:
The current binding allows rotation about the into-screen axis. The alternates would be the horizontal or vertical axes. For this globe, it would be more useful to be able to rotate the other 2 axes than the into-screen axis.
