In neuralnet.js:91, the code uses the console object which may not be present. Would you want to guard against that, ignore it, or throw an error?

Guarding against the error is OK. Ideally though, when the error occurs, it would call the callback with some value that signals an error was thrown, or provide two callbacks, one for the success condition, and one for an error condition so that we can signal to the calling code that an error occurred, and then propagate the error to the main page by passing a message. This would be so that the caller can have control over what to do about the error.
