About the group

##Good fight is a two sided project.

First:

GoodFight a project seeking to expand the concept of what the definition of an open source project is. The belief is that to truly democratize data and technology, we must do more than simply share the object and source code. We need to share the power. The power of deciding what type of license, what type of governance. The power to be involved in the conceptualization, the scope and depth. The power to decide the ethics and philosophy that the application will represent.

#Second:

Who we're looking for

Big Picture: Everyone

Deeper Dive:

A useful approach argues there are three things you can be; a visionary, a builder, and a maintainer. Individuals can be one thing, or more than one (I have personally never met someone who is truly all three). So in this context, we are looking for people both willing and able to assist us through the lens of these three categories. Assist in one or all. We need all to accomplish this.

Visionaries: Individuals and entities focused on the IT approach of governance, strategic management, ethics, administration, impact analysis, philosophy, behavioral economics, technologists.

Builders: Coders, Programmers, Software Architects, User Design and User Experience Developers, DevOps, Testers, Continuous Integration leaders, data analyst, data scientist, technologists.

Maintainers: Security, Data Engineers, Cloud Engineers and Architects, Data Warehouse Specialist, Data Scientist (Network and Graph Theory, Recommendation engines, auction algorithms)

Tools

Let us decided that together. I can start by saying that we want to reach the public...so desktop and mobile access. Possibly interacting with wearable tech, so not needing to build that first, but our first build be capable of scaling to such ideas and locations.
