Hi @yada 👋 No, that's not possible at the moment. Creating discussions in a different repository could also not work in some cases. When the GitVote application is installed in a repository, it needs to be granted some permissions on it (e.g. like the ability to create discussions). This happens automatically as part of the app installation, when the user installing it accepts them. But the app may not have permission to post announcements to other repositories where the app has not been installed (specially in private repositories). Thank you for giving GitVote a try! 🙂 |

As this is now a discussion, is anyone in the same case as us with the same need? |

Hi all,
I'm wondering if it’s possible to configure the GitVote app to post discussion announcements (e.g., vote results) in a different repository than the one where the app is installed.
Here’s our setup:
The governance votes occur in our community repo, where GitVote is installed.
However, we have Discussions enabled in our main repository and would prefer to post announcements there.
(Yes, we’re not big fans of the single-repo model 😉)
Is this currently supported or something that could be considered?
Thanks for the great work on GitVote!
