Issue with brainvisa dev installation

Hello,

I try to install the latest version of the dev installation (casa-distro-dev-5.4-12) but I run into an issue during bv_maker build.
It seems to be an issue with somaqt.

Here is the end of the traceback any idea ?

It seems that there is a mix between sip4 and sip6.
casa-dev Images 5.4.x are meant to build with Qt6 and sip6. Those images have (somewhat recently) moved to Ubuntu 24.04, and are not fully tested yet. You may try them but expect a few glitches...
Most developers use casa-dev 5.3 images (5.4 are not visible from the website) and are more stable. They are still using sip4 and Qt5.
Now it looks as if you have a casa-dev-5.3 image build, and then switched to 5.4 without rebuilding everything. Is it possible ?

No I tried to build from scratch using this image. I didn't know these images were not stable, I will stick with 5.3 image, thank you

What do you have in /casa/host/conf/bv_maker.cfg ?
Do you have:

  cmake_options += -DDESIRED_QT_VERSION=6

in the [build] section ? If not it's possibly the answer: this image has not been setup for building with Qt5/sip4, even if parts of them get installed on the system due to other dependencies.

I removed everything to build it from scratch with the 5.3-28 image, sorry I dont have the file anymore... But I followed the standard procedure from the dev section with the casa-dev-5.4-12.sif image.
