Integrated into OpenWRT, but no option appears

Hi,
I am new to compiling OpenWRT. I cloned this repo to OPENWRT/packages/, and just made sure fm350_modem and luci-proto-fm350 were selected. The compilation finished with no errors.
However, when I burned the image to the box and tried to select the interface option, there was no FM350 option to choose.

Are there any other steps I need to follow?
