PlayerData._send_notification has a few issues issues and utilizing it for mod dev never feels quite ideal.

I typically have to decide between Chat.write and Chat.notify because of limitations like debouncing, duration, lagginess

Adding a dedicated UI for Socks would alleviate these issues
