Description
- Add a (detachable) hall sensor to the board in order to be able to detect a rotating cogwheel
- Think about motor mounts such as the 28-BMY48 or the Minebea PM15S Mini 15mm
- swap the reset and mode button
- Allow to debug RX (maybe TX) with an external probe such as the FlipperZero
- Remove deepsleep jumper since it's power heavy
- Exchange AMS117 for the other one in esp8266-pcb
- Use a ESP32 or a bare bone ESP8266Ex
- Swap neopixel pins the current configuration does not work
- Option: Do not populate IR Receiver and add a potential light sensor with resistor to the analogue input
- Streamline 0402 vs. 0603 components
- Smaller Buttons
- Optional display on i2c port
- Use another driver:
- TI makes the DRV777, an 7 channel motor driver that is a direct replacement for the ULN2003, with a much lower voltage drop. That's an improvement, but probably still not optimal.
- Maybe power two motors with a ULN2803 and more pins
