ARMv7 (rpi) with beets 2.0.0 ... try to migrate to 2.5.1

Hi I'm trying to migrate from 2.0.0 to 2.5.1
but this new version require lap ;-(
and lap(numpy) can't be built on my old rpi 3b+ ...
is there a way to avoid lap (or use lapx in place of) ...

or what is the last beets version which doesn't need lap ?

it's since 2.3.0 which introduce numpy/lap ;-(
(so I goes from 2.0.0 to 2.3.0) but will never go up ;-(

We are only using numpy and lap for the match process.

As far as I know numpy should work on ARMv7(32bit) devices without much issues. It seems like lap does not (only supporting arm64).

I don't see an issue with replacing lap with lapx it it has the same performance and the dependency size is similar. You sure lapx works on ARMv7(32bit) devices? (From their workflow file it looks like lapx does not support armv7 and only complies to arm64)

you're right ... can't build lapx on my ARMv7(32bit) too ;-(

You might be able to raise the issue with the lapx team. Maybe they are up to add the armv7 target ;)
