NAS Backup & Recovery plugin: Scheduled backups are being executed but don't show up in the backup overview

problem

We are using the NAS Backup & Recovery plugin to take backups from our VMs. Since the upgrade from 4.20.2 to 4.21.0 we don't see the backups in Storage -> Backup overview. It used to work before that. We know the backups are still working because new files get created every day according to schedule.

versions

We are using the following:

cloudstack-agent 4.21.0.0-shapeblue0
cloudstack-common 4.21.0.0-shapeblue0
cloudstack-management 4.21.0.0-shapeblue0

qemu-system-x86 1:8.2.2+ds-0ubuntu1.10

libvirt0:amd64 10.0.0-2ubuntu8.8

We use a QNAP NFS storage as backup storage.

The steps to reproduce the bug

1. Schedule a backup
2. Click on Storage -> Backups and see no new backups
3. Verify files are being created on NFS share

What to do about it?

Fix the backup overview.

@gj-aazoo Are adhoc backups showing up in the backups list?

@gj-aazoo I am not able to reproduce the issue on my env.
Can you please check with ad hoc backups and hourly scheduled backups.
Also please lookup and share any relevant info from cloudstack-management and cloudstak-agent logs.

Actually I am not able to run a manual backup on my machines that were migrated from VMWare to KVM:

Cannot invoke "com.cloud.template.VirtualMachineTemplate.getUuid()" because "template" is null

A clean VM that I built from a Template does work.

When I look at the Instance Backups I get a complete list:

I don’t know? I get the full list of backups, in cloud monkey it does not stop at 25th of August. In the Global Backup Overview I don’t see any backups created after the 25th of August.
