I've closed the duplicate issue so we can use this mainly. This issue seems to be occurring when trying to find submodules in your selected repository. Could you tell me more about the existing repository and more specifically the submodule situation? It would help figure out the root cause so I can put a fix in for you 🙏🏾

Could you tell me more about what application this repository was initialised with?
Ideally, could you share a copy of the local repository? That would be the easiest, but I understand if your vault has sensitive contents. I think I really just need the .git folder but it's hard to tell at the moment.
Could you at least tell me the list of folders and files you can see (ideally with hidden files made visible) when you first enter the repository folder (the top-level files)? 🙏🏾

I'll think more on it in the meantime but any extra information would be helpful in getting to the bottom of this
