(often) unable to set save directory

Save directory dialog, which pops up after pressing "Set Dir." button, often shows no/incorrect directory listing, and does not correctly set save directory (one example was choosing /home/mrouser/data, directory was set to /home/mrouser/d). Work-around is to restart Evora and try again until it works. Possibly more likely/always works if directory is set first thing.
