Unable to Register on Self-hosted Git Server for Translation Contribution

I would like to contribute a Chinese (Simplified) translation to JokeAPI, as Chinese is my native language and I believe it would be valuable for Chinese-speaking users.

According to the contributing guide, pull requests should be submitted through your self-hosted Git server at https://git.sv443.net/sv443/JokeAPI-v2. However, I'm unable to find a registration option on the Git server.

My questions:

1. Is registration currently open for new contributors?
2. If not, is there an alternative way to submit translations (e.g., via GitHub PR, email, or another method)?
3. If registration is available, could you please guide me on how to create an account?

I'm ready to translate the following files as per the contribution guidelines:

• data/errorMessages.js
• data/translations.json
• Language code entry in data/languages.json

Hi, thank you kindly for your interest in contributing!
Unfortunately, I ran into the issue of thousands of spam accounts being created when I allowed registrations. I'm gonna get back to you once I've moved to a good platform that I don't have to self-host.
Also, development is paused and I sadly can't make any promises on when it's continuing. The API is just in a state of "extended support" at the moment. Once the new Git repo is up, I should be able to at least support PRs though.

Totally understand the spam issue - that sounds like a nightmare to deal with 😅

No worries about the development being paused. I appreciate you being upfront about it. The API works great as is anyway!

I'll keep an eye out for when the new Git platform is ready. If you need the Chinese translation files prepared in advance or anything, just let me know - happy to help whenever you're ready to accept PRs again.
